You are a founder refreshing Stripe subscriptions to Sheets on schedule, and this Stripe MRR workflow recalculates and posts the summary. Each refresh needs exports pulled, MRR math rebuilt, and summary posted to Slack.
You export Stripe subscriptions, fix formulas, then rebuild the MRR math. When the schedule fires, the flow pulls subscriptions, calculates MRR in code, and updates Sheets and Slack. You just check the posted total instead of keeping numbers current.
1. Fetch Stripe Subscriptions (HTTP API)
2. Update Google Sheet (Google Sheets)
3. Send Slack Summary (Slack)
4. Error Handler (Slack)
- Includes Daniel Grey pack: Slack - Error Alerts, Google Sheets - Audit Log, Wait - Rate Limit, Set - Audit Trail (all wired).
A schedule kicks it off automatically → Fetch Stripe Subscriptions, Calculate MRR, Update Google Sheet, ending in Send Slack Summary.
1. Open danielgrey.shop/app/templates/dg-1001 → Copy JSON → n8n → Import from Clipboard (or Push to n8n)
2. Connect credentials: Google Sheets, Slack
3. Check the schedule timing, run once manually to verify — it imports clean and goes green first try — then a 10-minute review and activate.
- n8n 2.37 or later
- Credentials for Google Sheets, Slack
- One-time $149 — yours forever, Pro unlocks it too.
- Tune the logic inside Calculate MRR — thresholds and weights are plain code with comments.
- Change the timing in Schedule Trigger — intervals and cron are one click.
v2.0 (Sep 2026, n8n 2.x): Added a Split Out step so Stripe's list response becomes per-subscription items (MRR math now reads every plan). Subscription listing stays on the documented REST call — n8n's Stripe node has no subscription resource. Tested on n8n 2.37 (2.x).
1.0 · Initial release 2026-08-31
Tested, sanitized, 4-node enhancement pack (Slack/Sheets/Wait/Set) by Daniel Grey
2.0 · Builtin-node rebuild (n8n 2.x) 2026-09-08
kept REST (no subscription resource in Stripe node) + Split Out(data) so MRR reads every plan
