Who is this for?

GraphQL query n8n workflow for backend devs fielding partner webhooks that expect fresh rows in Google Sheets. Queries, audit rows and Slack alerts scatter across GraphQL client, Sheets and Slack when handled manually. You import the dg-0047 JSON slug-specific with exact credentials, tested first-try, and the Sheets plus Slack audit pack is already wired.

What problem does this solve?

You open a GraphQL client to run the query, paste results into Google Sheets, then post a status note in Slack. On webhook, this workflow runs GraphQL, Function and Set, writes Google Sheets - Audit Log and fires Slack - Error Alerts on failure with Wait - Rate Limit and Set - Audit Trail tracking each run. You just triage the Sheets audit trail and Slack alerts.

How it works

An incoming webhook kicks it off → GraphQL, Function, Set, with Google Sheets - Audit Log writes and Slack - Error Alerts on failure.

Setup

1. Open danielgrey.shop/app/templates/dg-0047 → Copy JSON → n8n → Import from Clipboard (or Push to n8n)
2. Connect credentials: Google Sheets, Slack
3. Copy the production URL into your sending app, fire one test — Time required: ~10 min review — then Activate.

- n8n 2.37 or later

Customising

- Tune the query inside GraphQL to your schema and update field mapping in Function for Set.
- Adjust throttling in Wait - Rate Limit and audit columns in Set - Audit Trail to match your Sheets tabs.
- The Daniel Grey pack (Slack - Error Alerts, Google Sheets - Audit Log, Wait - Rate Limit, Set - Audit Trail) is already wired — keep it or delete it.

v2.0 (Sep 2026, n8n 2.x): Legacy Function rewritten as Code; legacy $node[] references modernized. Tested on n8n 2.37 (2.x).
