What problem does this solve?

You hunt the docs, wire Gmail, then run and check the log. When the schedule fires, the flow fetches a live quote over HTTP, connects Gmail, and shows the Sheets and Slack pattern. You just glance at the green run instead of starting blank.

How it works

A schedule kicks it off automatically → Get quote, Results, Connect your Gmail.

Setup

1. Open danielgrey.shop/app/templates/dg-0016 → Copy JSON → n8n → Import from Clipboard (or Push to n8n)
2. Connect credentials: Gmail, Google Sheets, Slack
3. Check the schedule timing, run once manually to verify — it imports clean and goes green first try — then a 10-minute review and activate.

Requirements

- n8n 2.37 or later
- Credentials for Gmail, Google Sheets, Slack
- Free — import and run.

- Change the timing in Schedule me here for your practice runs.
- Point Get quote at your source and Connect your Gmail at your inbox to see the pattern.

v2.0 (Sep 2026, n8n 2.x): Demo datastore replaced with the Google Sheets node — create a Customers sheet (id, name, notes columns), connect, run. Tested on n8n 2.37 (2.x).
